📋 Description

• The Senior Energy Control Manager provides enterprise-level leadership for all electrical and mechanical energy control activities across construction and commissioning operations. • Responsible for the implementation, standardization, and performance of the Hazardous Energy Control Program (HECP), with a primary focus on MEP systems, energization planning, commissioning safety, and high-risk energy management. • Leads the Energy Marshal Program across all sites, establishing clear expectations, technical standards, and consistent execution of energy control practices. • Ensures compliance with NFPA 70E, OSHA regulations, and LOTO requirements while embedding SafeState and Energy-Based Safety (EBS) principles into field operations. • Drives consistency, accountability, and risk reduction during energization, testing, and system startup activities. • Serves as the primary operational authority for energy control across active projects and campuses.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Safety, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 812+ years of experience in electrical construction, commissioning, or mission-critical environments. • 5+ years of experience leading energy control, LOTO, or commissioning safety programs. • Strong technical expertise in: NFPA 70E Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Electrical testing and commissioning Energization sequencing Arc flash and incident energy concepts. • Experience supporting multi-site or campus-level operations.
