📋 Description

• Analyze infrastructure utilization and resource consumption across on-premises and cloud environments to identify optimization opportunities • Utilize monitoring, analysis, and reporting tools to extract insights from infrastructure metrics and performance data • Write scripts and programs for data analysis, automation, and reporting • Collaborate with senior engineers to examine infrastructure metrics, validate findings, and recommend improvements • Develop and maintain documentation of optimization methodologies, findings, and implementation processes • Participate in code reviews and contribute to raising the technical quality of team deliverables • Support the implementation and validation of infrastructure optimization initiatives • Work with cross-functional teams to understand infrastructure requirements and identify efficiency gains • Participate in on-call rotation and assist with incident response and troubleshooting • Take ownership of individual contributions with guidance from more senior staff

🎯 Requirements

• Solid knowledge of software development and programming (Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages) • Experience with cloud and/or data center infrastructure concepts • Proficiency with data analysis, SQL queries, and analytical methodologies • Ability to write scripts and programs for automation and reporting • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in technical work • Experience with Linux/Unix environments • Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools • Understanding of containerization concepts (Docker, Kubernetes) • Experience with version control systems • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Must work effectively and professionally with cross-functional groups as part of a worldwide team • Must be able to work with a distributed team in multiple time zones
