📋 Description

• Falcon Host is a two-component security product; sensor is a driver on client machines that observes system activity and recognizes malicious behavior, then provides on-box prevention capability and remote telemetry. • The cloud component aggregates sensor telemetry for each customer’s network and presents a prioritized summary of the threats detected in their environments. • Our sensor development team is responsible for building the endpoint sensor which deploys on multiple platforms including Windows, Mac, and Linux. • As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be expected to have ownership over major components and development projects; you will be required to assist with architecting solutions and support in implementing our core features. • Features will cross-cut most core OS subsystems such as file system, memory and process, and networking; many features share components across platforms. • You need to lead projects efficiently while maximizing performance and minimizing costs, ensuring design, coding quality, and unit/testing standards.

🎯 Requirements

• In depth knowledge with C++ and Windows OS Kernel Development. • Strong low-level OS internals in either Windows, Mac OS, or Linux. • Experience debugging memory corruptions, process contentions and system performance. • Experience working with teams to ship major features and releases. • Lead, mentor, communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team. • Preferred Requirements : OS system expertise for core concepts and subsystems such as WFP, TCP/IP, USB, file systems etc. • Knowledge in Security. • Strong background in scalable, light-weight and highly performing systems. • Familiarity and experience with Agile process. • Familiarity with source control systems such as Git
