📋 Description

• Research changes to tax forms • Interpret the tax code and regulation updates that drove those changes • Provide guidance to programmers on updates needed to calculations based on research findings • Test tax return calculations for accuracy, consistency, and usability • Design and execute test cases to confirm correct implementation of tax law changes • Contribute to release notes, technical explanations, and customer-facing guidance as needed • Develop working knowledge of assigned jurisdictions or tax topics and assist the team by applying that knowledge • Develop and update documentation to support the tax return calculations and other collateral • Provide support for the products we create through both direct and indirect communication channels

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or related field • CPA or master’s degree is a plus • 0 to 3 years of industry or public accounting experience specializing in corporate or Pass-through income tax compliance or programming experience. • Experience leveraging AI-driven tools (e.g., generative AI, tax research platforms with AI capabilities, data analytics tools) to enhance tax research, technical analysis, and workflow efficiency is a plus • Experience with reading and interpreting COBOL and/or C# is a plus • Experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps is a plus • Exposure to and interest in tax software applications and Microsoft products • Equivalent experience at a tax software company is a plus • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Willingness to learn new skills quickly • Ability to work extended schedule as required to meet objectives
