• Supporting code deployment releases and promotions within test and production environments • Perform product installation and configuration with some troubleshooting assistance from others in Operations • Incident management including the investigation, and triage of various software application and database issues, while collaborating with internal teams to ensure fast turnaround times on issue/incident resolution • Monitor solutions production, customer test and internal environments for function and performance • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime. • Maintain monitoring tools and systems to proactively identify and address potential issues. • Install, configure and upgrade third party products and open source solutions • Participate in and contribute at daily stand-up meetings • Execution and validation of deployment installation, configuration, release processes and procedures • Develop and maintain automation tools and processes to streamline operations and improve productivity • Document operational and system architecture process and configuration and identify automation opportunities where applicable • Participating in the Operations 24x7 on-call rotation schedule • When needed, active participation in critical problem resolution outside of typical working hours
• Experience configuring, managing and upgrading servers and software • Experience with RDS database applications (eg. Oracle, MySQL) and administration • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills • Proven collaboration skills, including written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders • Ability to work independently and/or collaborate with internal teams with minimal assistance to solve problems • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (Electrical, Software, or Telecommunications) or a related field. • Minimum 2 -3 years’ experience with development and release processes
