📋 Description

• Report to the Senior Manager Software Development • Ascendon Product installation and configuration with occasional troubleshooting assistance • Monitor Ascendon solutions function and performance and suggest proactive remediation measures • Trouble-shoot and bug-fix Ascendon solutions • Automate and document Platform Engineer processes • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation • Collaborate with colleagues in architecture and development groups • Install, configure and upgrade third party products and open-source solutions • Bi-weekly off-hour maintenance activities performed within the required maintenance window

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field • Minimum 5 years’ experience with development and release processes • NATO SECRET (NS) security classification or willingness to undergo screening to attain NATO Secret security clearance • AWS or equivalent public cloud experience • Experience in Python • Experience configuring, managing and upgrading servers and software • Experience with database applications (MS SQL, MySQL) and Web Services (REST, SOAP) • Experience with version control, continuous integration and delivery tools (Subversion, Git, Jenkins, Artifactory or related services like Azure DevOps, Salt, AWS CodeCommit/Build/Pipelines, BitBucket or GitLab) • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) • Passionate about continuous learning and eager to leverage AI tools to drive innovation and efficiency
