• Make contact, introduce Constellation Software and build strong relationships with founders/CEOs of software companies. • Develop and manage pipeline and market maps in assigned vertical(s). • Meet and exceed monthly M&A targets, such as meaningful contacts and NDAs signed. • Work autonomously to qualify M&A opportunities. • Ensure lead database is allocated accurately within portfolio verticals.
• 2-4 years of experience in a Business Development position at a software company or a similar M&A role • Preference for experience in Outbound-focused roles. • Advanced verbal and written communication skills with confidence and polish to speak with CEOs, other prospects, lawyers, accountants, and business intermediaries. • Organized, detail oriented, and able to work variable hours. • Extraordinary work ethic, proactive with a sense of urgency.
