📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve cybersecurity policies, procedures, and systems for global BESS operations • Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals while driving a proactive security culture and awareness across the organization • Oversee incident response, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence activities for all BESS environments • Ensure compliance with relevant global cybersecurity standards and regulations (e.g. IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST, NIS2, NERC CIP) and manage relationships with regulators, auditors, and certification bodies • Lead cybersecurity risk assessments, audits, and gap analyses for BESS sites to identify and mitigate security weaknesses • Develop and manage cybersecurity strategies for OT environments, including network segmentation, access control, secure communications, and GRC principles • Oversee the implementation of cybersecurity controls for embedded systems, cloud platforms, and industrial networks, collaborating closely with engineering, operations, and Corporate IT Cybersecurity • Monitor emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory changes, adapting cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps as needed • Complete other duties and projects as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity management, preferably in energy, utilities, or industrial control systems • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NERC CIP, SOCI, GDPR). • An educational background in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field • Proven track record in global compliance and regulatory environments • Familiarity with OT/ICS security, network architecture, and cloud security • Experience with incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management • Strong understanding of risk management and business continuity planning • Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully leading complex, multi-national projects • Ability to function successfully both independently and within a team • Willingness to travel internationally as required to meet with clients and governing bodies (up to 25% or as needed).
