📋 Description

• Collect, validate, analyze, and integrate information from multiple sources (to include raw data) to produce finished deliverables and services that enable private and public sector customers make informed decisions. • Work with program leadership to assess the clients’ goals and desired end states to better define the core requirements and design research methodologies and instrumentation to drive primary and secondary research and analysis. • Work with program leadership to develop, conduct, and manage an assessment methodology to meet client objectives. • Manage clients, partners, and vendors to ensure a collegial working environment and seamless delivery of high-quality reporting. • Perform gap analysis to ensure assessment/research plans, instruments, and datasets address all data collection objectives and satisfy client requirements; articulate information gaps and make recommendations. • Develop information collection strategies using all source methodologies with a focus on leveraging local indigenous sources and secondary research to include social media analysis. • Develop and refine research and analysis methodologies and explore new sources and methods to acquire information in areas of interest. • Fuse and integrate streams of disparate information to produce finished written analytical products that define the problem, methodologies, key findings, gaps, assessment and recommendations. • Ability to “write for release,” which entails evaluating the source and packaging the research in a way that protects proprietary methodologies yet comprehensively conveys project findings to satisfy requirements. • Provide research expertise and analysis in support directed analytical efforts in response to Requests for Information. • Support research and development efforts related to Culmen’s leadership’s engagement with higher learning institutions and clients. • Support Culmen’s leadership’s business development and marketing efforts as required.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced Degree with at least 8 years of related work experience or Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of related work experience in a social science discipline such as psychology, sociology, anthropology, economics, political science, communications, or other related field. • Working knowledge of and experience with marketing, communications, and/or related assessments techniques. • Strong research and writing skills and ability to effectively operate independently and as a member of an analytical team. • Expertise in conducting, translating, and communicating complex quantitative and qualitative research from a variety of data sources. • In-depth knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research standards and methods. • Extensive experience briefing senior client management on research findings, familiarity with prevailing geopolitical trends and issues. • Strong program management skills, superior verbal skills, superior writing skills, experience providing finished analytical products. • Security awareness and intellectual property protection. • Awareness of cyber threats and familiarity with secure online search methods. • Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite, basic computer applications, modern collaborative communication tools, information dissemination tools and databases. • Ability to work in a remote-work environment and deal with ambiguity. • Solve complex problems. • Work independently with minimal guidance. • Lead and work effectively under pressure. • Work constructively with client(s) and potential client(s), building both internal and external relationships. • Manage diverse groups of people by providing guidance and direction across several technical as well as programmatic functional areas to achieve all aspects of operational and financial performance. • Prioritize and effectively communicate project goals and objectives. • Consistently meet multiple coinciding deadlines. • Demonstrate organizational skills. • Follow processes and expand for continual process improvement. • Demonstrate strong sense of time urgency for critical-path project items, milestones, and key project deliverables.
