📋 Description

• Lead Dairy Queen’s network of authorized distributors to ensure consistent, competitive, and reliable supply of approved products, ingredients, and packaging • Drive profitable growth across product categories in the assigned U.S. region • Serve as primary supply chain leader for franchisees, operators, distributors, and internal stakeholders • Provide strategic guidance, operational support, and resolution of complex distribution and supply chain challenges • Manage and continuously improve distributor performance, including fill rates, perfect orders, on-time delivery, approved product distribution, and SKU rationalization • Identify supply chain savings and growth opportunities • Conduct annual distribution reviews and manage relationships with distribution center account executives and senior staff • Communicate supply chain strategies and programs to franchisees and ADQ operations • Develop implementation plans for new product introductions and Limited Time Offers • Review warehouse operations, inventory management, product quality, and service levels • Recommend policy and procedure changes and develop corrective action plans • Assist Quality Assurance in enforcing the ADQ Distribution Quality Assurance program and policies • Use and develop advanced reporting solutions from Arrowstream and other systems • Coordinate with the assigned Franchisee Support Analyst • Build inter-company and cross-functional relationships to achieve company goals • Direct contract renewals and RFPs • Review inventory movement, proprietary items, inventory turns, and lead times • Review and control expedited freight costs • Identify risks and develop mitigation plans for inventory loss or write-offs • Develop and communicate product planning obligations and ensure distributor accountability • Monitor and provide weekly audit reports of unapproved products • Work with Product Development and FSQR to approve and track costs for distributor-branded items • Drive distributor performance through regular metric reviews and continuous improvement • Manage new product/LTO introductions, inventory, and service levels • Participate in planning and executing the annual Supply Chain Summit • Assist credit managers with collection of distributor accounts receivable • Advise Purchasing Managers on warehouse and product situations

🎯 Requirements

• B.A. or B.S. degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience • Minimum of 5–7 years of prior supply chain and/or store operations experience • Foodservice distribution experience preferred • Strong knowledge of the Foodservice Industry and Supply Chain Management • Ability to travel to distributors and distributors’ markets an average of 15 days per quarter • Ability to drive an automobile for operator and distributor visits • Ability to sit in a vehicle for up to 8 hours per day • Strong ability to collaborate in a team environment • Demonstrated team leadership and cross-department liaison abilities • Ability to drive process improvements • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment • Ability to identify problems, gather relevant information, and offer realistic solutions • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy • Exceptional service orientation • Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
