• Responsible for onsite installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of Leica equipment. • Visit customers (primarily universities and biotech companies) for preventive maintenance actions, fault analysis, upgrades, installation, maintenance, and repair to achieve optimum customer care delivering professional service. • Support Sales Representatives in activities such as installations and demo/exhibitions. • Collaborate closely with the Service Team to ensure all customers in the region are provided professional after-sales service.
• HS Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years' experience and/or vocational training in a technical, scientific, or engineering background or relevant military experience • Electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience. • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. • Ability to regularly lift, move, slide, raise and/or place up to 50lbs. • Ability to stand, walk (prolonged), and sit; squat and kneel, ascend and descend stairs; reach with hands and arms. • Previous experience in Microsoft Office Suite, SalesForce, and basic computer repair is a plus.
