• Lead and execute cost reduction and value improvement projects across Direct Commodities in alignment with Commodity Managers • Develop and apply target costing strategies in collaboration with R&D and Product Management • Conduct cost breakdown analyses and challenge supplier pricing based on manufacturing processes and market benchmarks • Benchmark global suppliers in alignment with Commodity Managers, identify the best cost sourcing opportunities and support, drive and lead complex negotiations with suppliers to achieve optimal commercial outcomes • Support early supplier involvement in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects to ensure cost-effective design decisions in alignment with the Project Procurement Managers
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management • 8+ years of experience in procurement engineering, cost engineering, or strategic sourcing • Familiarity with Advanced Cost Management Tools, such as Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Design-to-Cost (DtC), Clean Sheet Costing, Activity-Based Costing (ABC) • Proven track record in complex price and contract negotiations • Fluent in English (negotiation level)
