📋 Description

• Independent analysis and resolution of faults in various applications running on Windows and Linux servers • Evaluation and interpretation of event logs, log files, and system messages • Execution and analysis of network traces (e.g., with Wireshark) to identify performance or communication issues • Close collaboration with business units, developers, and external partners in root-cause analysis of complex incidents • Planning and execution of maintenance tasks such as patching, certificate replacement, or configuration adjustments • Maintenance and documentation of system environments and troubleshooting processes • Active participation in the development and automation of infrastructure and monitoring solutions • Support for the introduction of new systems and technical migration projects

🎯 Requirements

• Completed vocational training or degree in IT or equivalent professional experience • Strong understanding of IT infrastructures, particularly Windows and Linux servers (including services, networking, and protocols) • Hands-on experience in application troubleshooting and working with logs and trace tools • Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, SSL/TLS) • Confident handling of certificates, patch management, and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) • Experience with monitoring and ticketing systems (e.g., Zabbix, CheckMK, Jira, USU) • Good communication skills and an analytical mindset • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style • Very good German skills, good English skills • For assignments within the German public authority environment a security clearance according to SÜ1 or SÜ2 is required. Willingness to undergo this procedure is expected.
