📋 Description

• Perform brief, evidenced-based virtual individual and/or group counseling for low to moderate acuity patients with acute mental health conditions • Perform duties as a Practitioner and Consultant in Psychology focusing on various mental health problems • Make recommendations on major diagnostics and treatment plans • Provide continuing follow-up care for chronic outpatients • Exercise initiative and sound judgment in clinical interactions • Recommend hospitalization as applicable or determine service member's fitness for duty • Demonstrate understanding of TRICARE requirements and communicate effectively with beneficiaries • Prepare case summaries and other correspondence in a timely manner • Collaborate with physicians in other medical specialties for complicated cases • Direct Quality Assurance within area of responsibility

🎯 Requirements

• Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited university or professional school • Completion of an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship in professional psychology • Two years of post-graduate experience as a Clinical Psychologist using virtual platforms • Candidates with less than two years of experience using virtual platforms will be considered • Current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently, offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction
