Dayforce is a cloud-based human capital management (HCM) platform (from Ceridian) that unifies payroll, HR, benefits, workforce management (time and attendance, scheduling), talent management, and analytics into a single SaaS application. It is designed for enterprise customers to manage payroll and workforce processes in real time, support compliance, and optimize labor across organizations.

📋 Description

• Responsible for providing the strategic and operational management and oversight of the day-to-day support activities for business applications enterprise-wide. • Support the company and IT management including staff and customer support, implementation planning, updates and support for new business applications. • Build and operate a best in class organization, focusing on stability, continuous improvement, people and technology fundamentals. • Manages staff including; motivating/mentoring staff, providing employee training and development, conducting performance reviews and performing disciplinary action as appropriate; • Develops front to back monitoring, including functional health checks of all applications; • Strengthens production owner role, ensuring team challenges the status quo and continually pushes the stability and health with our vendor partners for all applications; • Drives automation agenda, including automating code deployments when feasible; • Drives root cause on all incidents, avoiding repeat occurrences by partnering with application vendors and IT teams to resolve gaps; • Manages production/operational readiness/ITIL Change Management for all systems, ensuring changes are properly approved, tested and include relevant back out plans; • Ensures the Business Application organizational culture is proactive versus reactive; • Ensures application portfolio adheres to all ITIL and Security requirements; • Owns ongoing production stability and disaster recovery; • Develops effective partnership with senior management and stakeholders; • Other duties and projects as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree In computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience • Ten (10) or more years of related work experience with a demonstrated understanding of application support for business office applications, system architecture for Internet based applications, relational database architecture and software development lifecycle SDLC • Insurance industry experience • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent problem solving and time management skills • Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects, deadlines and owners • Demonstrated superior management, talent management and relationship building skills • Ability to work within a fast paced team environment and foster teamwork • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
