📋 Description

• Obtains, calculates and compiles data for use in conceptual/bid proposal estimates • Prepares routine estimates under general supervision • Responsible for ensuring that all quantity surveys and pricing are accurate and complete • Provide support for the development of bidding strategies by debriefing the salesperson of job elements • Leads the documentation management of the project • Attend pre-bid meetings to discuss project specifics and scope • Participate in bid closings and estimate reviews • Balance workload and assignments to meet deadlines • Develop a value analysis study by defining alternatives to the proposed scope that are more cost-efficient • Manage action items from Post Bid and finalize ISEC scope • Compute cost estimates for materials, purchased equipment, subcontracted work, production activities and requirements, and labor

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field • 7+ years of experience • High level of strategy, proactive engagement to move project through estimating effectively • Earns trust to close out bid without management present • Actively seeks competitive information to provide insight to project team • Delivers comprehensive estimate/bid due to expansive supplier knowledge • Advanced knowledge of ISEC products, services, processes and projects • Exposure to multiple or larger projects with increased scope and complexity • Independent decision making • Fully autonomous in position • Directs activities; offers recommendations and solutions • Demonstrates problem solving and mature judgement in anticipating and solving issues • Assist in development/mentoring of Level 1 & 2; may have multiple direct reports • May assist with hiring and performance reviews
