📋 Description
• Develops and provides students with an approved DeVry University syllabus. • Organizes, prepares, and regularly revises and update all course materials. • Uses appropriate technological options for online technologies and course-related software. • Models effective oral and written communications that engage students. • Sets clear expectations for the course by publishing course terminal objectives. • Ensures that the content and level of material included on exams correspond to the course terminal objectives. • Demonstrates consistency and fairness in the preparation and grading of exams.
🎯 Requirements
• Master's degree in health information management, public health, or healthcare-related field from regionally accredited institution. • Current Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) or Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) certification required. • Minimum 5 years managing cancer registry operations including case finding, abstracting, and follow-up. • Expertise in AJCC/TNM staging, SEER Summary Staging, and collaborative staging systems. • Experience with cancer registry software platforms and NAACCR data standards. • Working knowledge of NCRA or CAHIIM accreditation standards and quality control procedures. • Understanding of cancer surveillance reporting to state and national databases. • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings. • Commitment to ongoing professional development in instructional technology, digital literacy, and responsible AI practices.
