📋 Description

• Prepare referrals for Motions for Relief and assist firm with any figures and documents required to proceed with the necessary legal action. • Review delinquent accounts and case disposition to determine appropriate action to take. • Audit accounts and prepare ledger to ensure all funds were received and applied correctly. • Review loans until the Motion is resolved. • Monitor compliance with negotiated Stipulations and refer additional legal action as necessary. • Review loans immediately upon receipt for any items needed to proceed with account adjustments or legal action. • Refer to jurisdictional requirements to confirm what items are required to proceed with legal action. • Regularly monitor reports generated in our system and client’s system to ensure timely handling of files. • Ensure local counsel has all necessary information to complete various notices and filings. • Move all non-active files quickly through to closing. • Review and interpret client systems and update data per client’s expectations.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma required, Bachelor Degree preferred • Two or more years of experience in the bankruptcy and/or Mortgage Servicing arena. Proven track record of dependability and punctuality required. • Usage of LPS is required; must be familiar with all Facets of LPS, including LPS Intercoms, LPS Reports, and LPS/ Client Directives. • Must possess basic understanding of the fundamentals of Chapter 7, 11, and 13 Bankruptcies. • Must be proficient with numbers and basic accounting. • Must be proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet
