📋 Description

• Design modern, enterprise-scale data architectures using dbt Cloud • Partner with Sales to demonstrate the technical value of dbt Labs solutions • Lead proof-of-concept engagements and technical evaluations for prospective customers • Work with engineering to deploy dbt Cloud in private clouds for enterprise clients • Manage the full customer lifecycle, from pre-sales through onboarding and adoption • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to influence the enterprise roadmap • Enable strategic partners (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS) in their implementation of dbt • Engage in the dbt Community and contribute to thought leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of sales engineering, solutions architecture, or consulting in data operations, analytics, or BI • Proven hands-on experience with SQL, ETL, and data modeling • Strong understanding of modern data stacks and cloud data warehousing • Effective communicator—able to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences • Ability to gather and translate technical and business requirements into concrete solutions • Excellent written, and in-person communication skills to discuss complex topics with both technical and non-technical audiences • Adaptable in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities • A passion for being an inclusive teammate and involved member of the community
