• Review and inspect digital pathology slide images against defined quality criteria across non-clinical archive, Clinical, and GLP-regulated studies. • Identify and flag image quality issues for escalation to the core QC team. • Maintain accurate QC records in line with applicable procedures. • Ensure all inspection output is available for core QC team review and sign-off prior to finalisation. • Provide first response, triage, and resolution of standard query types within the case management ticket platform. • Escalate complex, clinical, or non-standard cases to the core internal Case Control team in line with defined escalation protocols. • Deliver out-of-hours and weekend ticket coverage to reduce resolution times. • Review AI-extracted clinical request card data, including demographics, clinical information, and specimen details, against source documents within the clinical information system. • Make corrections where extracted data does not accurately reflect the source document. • Flag incomplete, ambiguous, illegible, or anomalous request cards for escalation. • Mark verified cases as complete and maintain an accurate activity log for audit trail purposes. • Complete cross-training across all three functions, QC Slide Inspection, Case Control, and Transcription and Verification, prior to independent working on any single function. • Work flexibly across functions based on dynamic, demand-led allocation directed by the line manager at the start of each shift, according to live queue volumes and operational priority.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, required across all three functions. • Proficiency in English, written and verbal; all platforms, records, and escalations are conducted in English. • Ability to work methodically to defined procedures and quality criteria. • Familiarity with data entry, verification, and quality-checking workflows. • Comfort working within clinical or regulated data environments, or a demonstrable ability to learn quickly. • Prior experience in digital pathology, medical imaging, or life sciences data processing is desirable. • Experience working in a GLP or GxP-regulated environment is desirable. • Familiarity with clinical request card formats or medical record data is desirable. • Experience using ticketing or case management platforms, such as HubSpot or similar, is desirable.
