• Moderate Q&A activities, chat interactions, and audience engagement channels during virtual events. • Manage polls, surveys, and interactive elements to enhance participant engagement. • Support the flow of presenters, ensuring smooth transitions between segments. • Monitor attendee questions, elevate priority items, and route inquiries to appropriate speakers. • Assist presenters with real-time communication needs, including slide transitions or tech coordination. • Track and manage chat behavior to maintain a productive and professional environment. • Provide real-time updates to event producers on engagement patterns or issues. • Support preparation tasks including run-of-show updates, speaker coordination, and rehearsal participation. • Capture engagement metrics (attendance, participation, poll responses) and provide post-event summaries. • Ensure all virtual event interactions comply with MC&FP guidelines, accessibility requirements, and communication standards.
• Candidate must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust (from any federal agency) or an active Secret clearance or higher • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field. • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting virtual events, webinars, or digital engagement activities. • Experience with moderation, chat/Q&A management, and audience interaction workflows. • Experience coordinating with presenters, event producers, and multi-disciplinary teams. • Proficiency with virtual event platforms such as ZoomGov, Teams, WebEx, ON24, or similar tools. • Understanding of chat, polling, and interactive engagement functionalities. • Familiarity with virtual presentation best practices and event etiquette. • Experience supporting federal or DoD virtual event programs (preferred). • Knowledge of accessibility requirements including captioning and 508 considerations (preferred).
