• Oversee the successful implementation and data migration of payroll systems for Deel’s clients • Lead and manage the full payroll implementation process, ensuring accurate data transfer and proper system configuration • Work with onboarding team and clients to organize and run kick-off meetings and deliver implementations • Create, maintain, and manage project plans to deliver successful roll-outs • Support project review calls (internal and external), coordinate project streams, and manage scope changes and delivery schedules • Define and set up agreed client payroll processes, payroll calendars, and data requirements • Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and process documentation • Configure interfaces, reports, and system settings; define and run parallel payroll processes and live payroll for month 1 and 2 • Manage go-live transition, client sign-off, validation, and documentation; generate reports to analyze, audit, and reconcile payroll data • Map GL reports if required and act as the point of contact for all payroll project matters • Set priorities autonomously, escalate issues appropriately, and provide regular status reporting to senior leadership • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to gather payroll requirements • Ensure payroll processes adhere to local tax and labor laws and keep up-to-date with changes • Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans and implement change management strategies
• 5+ years of experience in global payroll implementation and payroll operations • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance across your designated location • Experience with payroll systems and software • Client-facing project management experience and ability to manage multiple projects • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred) • Ability to ensure payroll compliance with local tax and labor laws • Experience overseeing payroll data migration, testing, and system configuration • Fluency in English (speak, read, and write) as required in application form • Experience processing end-to-end payroll implementations for Belgium
