📋 Description

• You assume overall strategic, operational and organisational responsibility for DEHIB’s communications function. • You continuously develop the communications strategy and implement it together with your team. • You are responsible for the association’s internal and external communications. • You sustainably develop our brand identity and DEHIB’s positioning. • You ensure a professional, consistent and modern external presence across all communication channels. • You manage communication measures to support our strategic objectives. • You are responsible for DEHIB’s press and media relations. • You build reliable relationships with media, institutions and relevant stakeholders. • You coordinate governmental affairs and political affairs. • You develop communication measures for political and societal topics. • You support the federal board in public appearances and in the strategic positioning of the association. • You are responsible for DEHIB’s digital communications. • You continuously develop our social media and online communications. • You manage DEHIB’s website, including structure, content and further development. • You coordinate the creation of high-quality communications and marketing materials. • You ensure a professional and consistent brand presence across all digital channels. • You independently further structure the communications area. • You develop processes, responsibilities and workflows within the department. • You build a high-performing volunteer communications team. • You coordinate collaboration with other departments such as HR, Digitalization, Fundraising and Project Management. • You ensure transparent coordination and a professional communication culture within the association.

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in communication, corporate communications, marketing, public relations, corporate communications or comparable fields. • Experience in building and developing brands is an advantage. • Knowledge of press work, media communication or public affairs is desirable. • Experience in digital marketing and social media. • Structured, independent and strategic working style. • Strong communication and organisational skills. • Enjoy leading volunteer teams and inspiring people. • Interest in social impact as well as modern association and organisational development. • Very good German skills (C1/C2) and confident use of Microsoft 365 are required.
