• Process and review Joint Interest Billing (JIB) and revenue statements • Ensure data accuracy and maintain organized accounting records • Support monthly and quarterly accounting close activities • Perform reconciliations to validate uploaded amounts against source documentation • Identify discrepancies, missing statements, coding concerns, and exceptions for review by senior accounting personnel • Communicate with operators regarding JIB and revenue statement inquiries and resolution
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience • Oil and gas accounting experience is strongly preferred • Experience with JIB processing, revenue accounting, or working interest accounting is highly desirable • Experience supporting U.S.-based companies in a remote capacity is preferred • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and reconciliations. • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
