📋 Description
• Perform structural analysis and design for nuclear-related systems, including pipe supports and associated components • Review and validate engineering calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements • Apply applicable codes and standards, including B31 regulations and nuclear-specific documentation requirements • Support development and maintenance of engineering documentation in alignment with QA programs • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure design integrity and project alignment
🎯 Requirements
• Senior-level experience in structural engineering within the nuclear industry • Illinois SE License required • Strong knowledge of nuclear regulations including 10CFR50 Appendix B QA Program • Experience with structural analysis tools such as GTSTRUDL and MathCAD • Background in pipe support design and related structural systems • Familiarity with nuclear codes, standards, and documentation practices • Experience performing and reviewing engineering calculations • Supervisory or leadership experience is a plus
