📋 Description

• Planning, installation, administration, operation, and monitoring of relational database management systems (RDBMS) • Problem and error analysis of DBMS systems • Continuous optimization, automation, and performance analysis of DBMS environments • Development of standards and guidelines, and contribution to the further development of the service portfolio • Setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of relational DBMS • Oracle system updates and migrations • PostgreSQL system updates and migrations • The administrator is responsible for the operation of systems. • Participation in the planning, design, implementation, and operation of complex systems • Handling and execution of complex tasks • Installation and maintenance of tools • Contribution to the development and planning of service concepts • Support in ensuring the agreed service levels • Creation of system documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or completed vocational training with equivalent professional experience • At least three years of professional experience, including at least one year in IT administration • Operational experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL systems • Administration experience in Linux Red Hat is required • Strong customer-oriented thinking and behavior • Professional, trustworthy, and empathetic demeanor • Analytical, systematic, and structured working style • High analytical and conceptual thinking ability • High flexibility, resilience, and willingness to perform • Good communication skills • Broad and solid technical understanding • Very good technical expertise in the targeted area and good knowledge of related technologies • Strong cooperation, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills • Very good knowledge of German and English • Suitability for on-call duty • Willingness to work on weekends
