📋 Description

• Own the design, development, and maintenance of the core backend platform powering a real-time 3D commerce environment • Define the company’s technical architecture from the ground up • Lead end-to-end system design across APIs, automated pipelines, workflow engines, search infrastructure, and queuing systems • Work in a fast-paced, stealth startup with minimal technical debt • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable, high-performance solutions • Support light MLOps initiatives and integrate the backend with advanced computer vision and AI technologies

🎯 Requirements

• +5 years of experience as a software engineer working on backend systems • Strong knowledge of backend development using TypeScript (Node.js) • Deep expertise with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL • Experience managing AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Pulumi, Terraform, or CloudFormation • Mastery of technical design, including system architecture, interface/API design, and data/object modeling • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and test suites from scratch • Exposure to integrating backend systems with AI/ML models, or a strong willingness to handle light MLOps tasks within a CV+AI environment • Solid understanding of queuing systems, nightly data jobs, workflow engines, and search indices • Ability to drive technical discussions, take ownership of the architecture, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
