📋 Description

• Devoteam Portugal is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join our nearshore team for an exciting project in the financial sector. • You'll play a key role in implementing Policy-as-Code solutions, leveraging strong skills in Python OOP, Terraform, and AWS scripting with Boto3. • Design and implement infrastructure automation using Terraform (modular architecture, promotion strategies). • Write and maintain Python code with a focus on OOP, using frameworks and custom packages. • Work with AWS (scripting via Boto3) to manage and secure cloud resources. • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab. • Collaborate with development and security teams to improve DevSecOps best practices. • Ensure compliance and security standards across multi-cloud environments (AWS & Azure).

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering or DevSecOps roles • Strong experience with Python, including OOP and package development • Solid knowledge of AWS and scripting with Boto3 • Experience with GitLab CI/CD • Deep understanding of cloud security principles and Policy-as-Code • Ability to write clean, scalable, and reusable code for infrastructure • Nice to Have: Experience with CI/CD pipelines • Familiarity with Agile methodologies • Exposure to Azure (the project includes Azure components)
