📋 Description
• Develop and provide students with approved syllabi • Organize, prepare, and regularly revise course materials • Use appropriate technological options for online technologies and course-related software • Model effective oral and written communications • Set clear expectations for the course • Ensure exam content corresponds to course objectives • Demonstrate fairness in grading and provide timely feedback • Integrate responsible use of AI technologies in the classroom • Complete other duties as assigned
🎯 Requirements
• A master's degree in healthcare related field is required • 18 graduate credit hours in the subject being taught • Inpatient coding experience is required • Current industry experience in a healthcare setting • Current industry-related certifications (CCS) • Minimum of 5 years of working knowledge of healthcare operations • Minimum of five years of recent in-field inpatient coding experience • Knowledge in electronic health/medical records • Familiarity with IT systems and functions within healthcare • Understanding of health insurance and reimbursement • Knowledge of health privacy and ethics • Familiarity with reimbursement methodologies and billing functions • Commitment to ongoing professional development in instructional technology, digital literacy, and responsible AI practices
