• Perform Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) on a wide range of electrical equipment • Visually inspect appliances for damage, wear, or safety issues • Accurately test equipment using approved testing instruments • Label tested equipment and record results clearly and correctly • Complete test reports and certification in line with company and legal requirements • Identify and report any failed or unsafe equipment to clients • Maintain testing equipment and ensure calibration is up to date • Adhere to health & safety procedures at all times • Provide a professional and courteous service when dealing with clients
• PAT Testing qualification (e.g. City & Guilds 2377 or equivalent) • Good understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively • Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping • Good communication and customer service skills • Basic IT skills (for reporting and certification) • Full UK driving licence
