📋 Description

• We’re a well-capitalized startup developing cutting-edge tools for web3 builders, and we’re growing our team to take our product to the next level. • We’re hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to architect and implement scalable, performant, and reliable backend systems supporting our expanding user base. • This role offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively, leveraging the latest backend technologies and best practices. • Architect, build, and maintain backend services with an emphasis on scalability, performance, and reliability. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, design) to develop and launch new features. • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, maintaining high testing coverage. • Partner with DevOps to optimize infrastructure, manage costs, and improve system monitoring and alerting (e.g., Datadog experience). • Design and implement APIs and integrations to ensure secure and robust data flows across the system.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of backend development experience in a professional setting. • Experience shipping production apps using TypeScript and Node.js. • Experience with distributed systems and task scheduling systems. • Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, with experience in query optimization and handling complex database interactions. • Familiarity with Inversify for dependency injection, session management, and IoC containers. • Familiarity with creating and maintaining APIs, handling authentication, and securing data flows. • Nice-to-Haves: • Experience with Kubernetes and horizontally scaling applications to ensure high availability. • Familiar with DevOps and monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog) to ensure system performance and reliability. • Experience with Remix for backend API development. • Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus. • Knowledge of the web3 ecosystem or a strong interest in learning about blockchain technology.
