📋 Description

• Director of Business Operations (BizOps) is a leadership role reporting to the COO; drives day-to-day execution of key operational strategies. • Focus on scaling and strengthening offshore operations; optimize workstreams and service models; align offshore/onshore operations; partner with Agency and Employee Experience teams to strengthen documentation, training, and cross-functional integration. • Lead efficiency and scale initiatives across service operations; connect Agency leadership and Engineering/Product; diagnose bottlenecks, develop solutions, drive execution, measure outcomes. • Requires a consulting mindset—balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution to deliver measurable, scalable results. • You’ll love this job if you are: An Outcome-Oriented Leader – Thrive on solving complex problems, navigating ambiguity, and driving measurable business impact. • A Strategic Executor – Transform vision into action, leading initiatives that deliver operational efficiency and scale. • A Growth-Minded Operator – Embrace change and see every challenge as an opportunity to evolve people, systems, and processes. • An Operational Problem-Solver – Identify bottlenecks quickly and design sustainable solutions that improve capacity and throughput. • A Consultant at Heart – Move fluidly between systems thinking and execution, applying frameworks to drive clarity and alignment. • A Connector – Build cross-functional alignment and influence outcomes without direct authority. • A Process Architect – Develop standardized, scalable workflows that strengthen business continuity and accelerate onboarding. • A Force Multiplier – Free leadership bandwidth by proactively solving issues and driving initiatives forward. • What you’ll do: Lead offshore Expansion & Service Model Optimization – Drive the integration and scaling of offshore operations and shared services while partnering with Agency leadership to design workstreams and service structures that align the right work with the right talent, enabling senior staff to focus on strategic, performance-driving activities that deliver greater customer value. • Streamline & Standardize Operations – Create SOPs, unify workflows, and embed documentation and training that strengthen business continuity, improve onboarding, and ensure resilience during growth and change. • Enhance Resource Planning & Forecasting – Maintain and refine capacity planning frameworks that provide predictability, enable better allocation of resources, and support long-term scalability. • Lead Cross-Functional Efficiency Initiatives – Maintain a bird’s-eye view of operational bottlenecks and high-frequency manual tasks. Partner with Engineering/Product to design and implement people, process, and automation solutions. Own the planning, execution, and measurement of these initiatives end-to-end, ensuring accountability, adoption, and measurable impact. • Strengthen Partnerships Across the Business – Act as a trusted connector between Operations, Agency leadership, and Engineering/Product teams to ensure smooth rollout of initiatives and alignment with efficiency and scale goals. • How success will be measured: • Improved Labor Efficiency Ratio (quarter over quarter) • Reduced Labor per Account while maintaining quality and satisfaction • Shortened cycle and process times across workflows • Increased onboarding throughput with minimal issues • Consistent adoption of the resource planning framework across departments • Strengthened partnerships with Agency & Engineering/Product leadership • Seamless offshore integration delivering measurable efficiency, scale, and customer value.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in operations, business consulting, or strategic program management within a high-growth, service-based organization (agency or professional services strongly preferred). • Proven success driving operational scale and efficiency, with examples of diagnosing bottlenecks and leading cross-functional execution. • Experience implementing and integrating offshore and shared services teams. • Demonstrated leadership and influence across diverse teams and stakeholders. • Deep knowledge of organizational design, workflow optimization, and resource planning. • Strong program management skills with experience running complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. • Data fluency: comfortable with metrics, dashboards, and using KPIs to guide decisions. • Exceptional communicator with the ability to simplify complexity for both technical and non-technical audiences. • A continuous improvement mindset with a strong bias toward systems thinking and process innovation. • Experience in a digital marketing agency or client services environment. • Management consulting background or experience in an internal strategy/operations team. • Formal training or certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or other process methodologies. • Familiarity with strategic frameworks (EOS, OKRs, Balanced Scorecard, V2MOM, etc.). • MBA or advanced degree in Business, Operations, or related field. • Proficiency in agency-relevant tools such as Asana, ClickUp, TaskRay, Salesforce, etc. • Experience designing or overseeing shared services models across multiple business units. • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
