📋 Description

• Implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with Digistore24’s goals. • Support the management of the entire data domain: architecture, technology decisions, policies, procedures, cost monitoring, alerting, etc. • Ensure the data foundation is performant and scalable to meet business needs. • Expand analytics capabilities and drive the development of predictive models and data visualization tools. • Communicate and align with various teams on business and technical requirements. • Work with clear goals and objectives to ensure alignment with organizational priorities. • Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data analysis processes and results. • Implement best practices for data acquisition, integration, transformation, and delivery. • Stay informed about current technologies and trends in data engineering. • Act as a subject-matter expert on data analytics and engineering topics and provide support and guidance when needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Fast learner with the ability to connect business and technical perspectives. • Use cloud environments (AWS, Azure, preferably GCP) to manage and process data. • Work with data storage solutions such as BigQuery, Redshift, and Snowflake to ensure efficient data storage and querying. • Work confidently across teams, manage concurrent workstreams, and handle uncertainty. • Use ETL tools like dbt, SQLMesh, and GCP DataForm to transform and prepare data for analysis. • Ability to create and maintain dashboards, build interactive visualizations, and generate actionable business insights with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar tools. • Proficient in both project management and operational work, with the ability to delegate and coach. • Self-motivated, able to make independent decisions, and solve problems creatively. • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. • Background in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field. • Proven experience in a data analyst or data engineering role. • Communication skills: fluent in English, both written and spoken, to communicate with our international team. • Experience in ERP migrations, tax data marts, or procurement automation; work cross-functionally to enable self-service analytics for non-technical users. • Familiarity with event-tracking and product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA4, Segment, Snowplow). • Experience building and analyzing funnels, cohorts, and experiments to inform the product roadmap and go-to-market strategy. • Ability to balance statistical rigor with speed and clearly communicate trade-offs and uncertainties. • This position is not for you if you have less than 3 years of experience in relevant data roles. • If you view software development only as the act of writing code. • If you cannot write high-quality code without a modern framework or require Windows to develop. • If you make code changes without understanding the consequences. • If you lack a sense of ownership and need to discuss every detail with your product manager or colleagues. • If you do not have the ambition to continuously expand your knowledge. • If you do not identify with our values (PLEASE READ THESE). • If you are looking for a B2B contract: we CANNOT offer this. • If you DO NOT reside in Europe (continent).
