📋 Description

• Lead the architecture and development of sophisticated back-end systems powering client digital transformations • Design scalable back-end systems for custom SaaS platforms and enterprise integrations • Define back-end technology standards, coding best practices, and code review processes • Design and implement AWS cloud infrastructure, including serverless and container-based solutions • Champion Infrastructure as Code practices with client technical teams • Write clean, maintainable, high-quality code for critical project modules • Mentor and guide engineers and foster engineering excellence • Collaborate with business analysts, subject matter experts, and external partners to translate requirements into technical solutions • Promote comprehensive technical documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive, senior-level experience in Python • Deep understanding of web frameworks like Django and FastAPI • Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing applications on AWS • Expertise in AWS Lambda, Docker, ECS/EKS • Experience designing and building scalable, distributed systems and microservices architectures • Hands-on production experience with Terraform or a similar Infrastructure as Code tool, such as AWS CDK • Prior experience in a technical leadership or mentorship role • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences • Experience with event-driven systems using RabbitMQ, Kafka, or AWS SQS/SNS (nice to have) • Practical experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack (nice to have) • Solid understanding of Kubernetes (nice to have) • Experience with MongoDB, Redis, PostgreSQL, and MySQL (nice to have) • Familiarity with Java/Spring, NodeJS, Go, or Rust (nice to have) • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI (nice to have) • Polish business entity able to invoice B2B, or willingness to set one up before starting • Ability to work on your own computer • Availability for 3 to 7 pm overlap with western-country clients
