📋 Description

• Understand client needs and translate them into scalable, practical architecture • Design systems and select technology stacks for new builds • Write and review production code and create prototypes when needed • Assess existing systems and APIs for reuse, replacement, or integration • Collaborate with client stakeholders, product owners, and developers • Document architecture for implementation teams • Maintain consistent and feasible technical direction as projects evolve • Guide implementation teams and resolve difficult technical decisions • Lead client workshops and technical discovery sessions • Own solution design from initial conversation through production

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in software delivery, with at least 3 years as a Solution Architect or senior backend / technical lead • 5+ years writing production code in Python, Node.js, Java, or Kotlin • Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure • Experience with API design, event-driven architecture (Kafka, SQS, or RabbitMQ), and microservices / integration patterns • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases • Ability to read API documentation and evaluate integration options • Experience building custom software, not just configuring SaaS tools • Solid understanding of Agile and DevOps • Experience running workshops and architecture reviews directly with external clients • Experience with US/UK clients • Business-level English, spoken and written (C1+) • Willingness to work CET-overlapping hours • Ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical people • Analytical, pragmatic, ownership-oriented, client-oriented, and adaptable • Polish business entity able to invoice B2B, or willingness to establish one before starting • Own computer required
