📋 Description
• Develop, lead, and/or participate in litigation • Represent individual clients in negotiations and judicial proceedings • Supervise and/or mentor the work of attorneys and advocates • Provide training and technical assistance to other staff • Collaborate with other agencies on service issues
🎯 Requirements
• Juris Doctor degree (JD) and admitted to the California State Bar • Seven (7) years of experience practicing law • Excellent advocacy skills (research, writing, analytic, and oral) • Strong commitment to working with people with disabilities and low-income clients • Expertise in one or more substantive areas of law affecting rights and services for people with disabilities • Experience in litigation, including class action, complex litigation, and appellate practice
