📋 Description
• Review revenue contracts to ensure revenue is recognized in accordance with US GAAP, ASC 606 and internal policies • Complete timely and accurate contract review at the end of each fiscal month • Participate in monthly and quarterly close activities including preparing journal entries, variance analysis and performing deferred revenue and other revenue related account reconciliations as needed • Assist with both internal and external audits • Work collaboratively with US revenue recognition team to ensure consistency of approach and adherence to global processes • Partner with billing, revenue operations, financial reporting, GL, and business process teams to drive best practices in revenue • Support the revenue accounting team and revenue accounting manager with special projects, including system implementation and improving internal processes and controls
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 3 years related experience with a Master’s degree • Business fluency in German and English • Experience with US GAAP revenue recognition principles with ability to recognize and accurately record revenue in accordance with ASC 606 • Experience with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables
