📋 Description

• Own DoiT's Integrations Framework and the customer experience built on top of it • Design and ship integrations against third-party billing and usage APIs • Handle authentication, incremental sync, rate limits, error handling, schema drift, and related integration concerns • Improve the Integrations Framework, testing harnesses, and scaffolding so future integrations require less effort • Use AI daily to explore codebases and APIs, prototype, generate and review code, debug, write tests, and produce documentation • Build interfaces for connecting, configuring, and monitoring integrations • Provide health and status visibility, actionable errors, credential and key rotation, and clear feedback • Design self-service backfills, reconnects, and diagnostics for customers and internal teams • Make capabilities available through APIs as well as the UI • Implement features end-to-end from proposal through specification, implementation, and maintenance • Propose valuable product additions rather than waiting for specifications

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, shipping and owning features in production • Strong TypeScript, including modern frontend work; React preferred • Hands-on experience with Go, or strong backend experience in Python, Java, Node.js, or C# with enthusiasm for ramping up in Go • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and integrating third-party APIs, including auth flows, pagination, rate limits, partial failures, and breaking changes • Comfortable across the stack, owning features from database through interface • Working proficiency in SQL • Experience developing solutions in the cloud and/or using GCP, AWS, or Azure • User-facing instinct for operational tooling and actionable error messages • AI-augmented working style and experience using AI tools across the engineering workflow • Strong knowledge of software engineering practices, design patterns, and architectural principles • Demonstrated passion for creating high-quality web/SaaS apps • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Self-organized, goal-oriented, self-motivated, confident, thorough, and tenacious • Bonus: experience building integration platforms or extensibility frameworks • Bonus: experience with cloud or SaaS billing data, including AWS/GCP/Azure cost and usage exports, AI vendor billing data, marketplace billing, or FOCUS • Bonus: experience with Google BigQuery, Dagster, Airflow, data pipelines, or orchestration tooling • Bonus: experience building AI-powered product features • Bonus: exposure to FinOps practices or cloud financial management products • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience listed as a bonus
