📋 Description

• Lead, manage capacity for, and develop the Accounting team, with both functional and disciplinary responsibility • Take overall responsibility for the accounting and financial reporting structures of the Group’s three entities in Germany, Cyprus, and the United States • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements on time in accordance with German GAAP (HGB), while taking Cyprus- and US-specific requirements into account • Oversee Group Accounting and the consolidation of the three entities • Ensure the accurate accounting treatment of complex goods and service flows and manage intercompany mapping • Maintain relationships with tax advisors, auditors, and authorities across all markets • Collaborate with the FP&A team and provide reliable internal and external financial data • Further develop and scale the Oracle NetSuite system landscape • Automate processes and ensure compliance with all tax requirements • Report directly to the VP Finance & Operations

🎯 Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional experience in accounting • Initial leadership experience, either functional or disciplinary, in a trading, retail, or e-commerce environment • Successfully completed degree in Business Administration or Finance, or qualification as a certified accountant • Strong knowledge of financial reporting under IFRS and HGB • Experience with international entities in Cyprus and the United States, plus basic knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP • In-depth understanding of intercompany reconciliations and international tax law applicable to trading companies • Experience with Oracle NetSuite or comparable mid-market or enterprise ERP systems • Excellent knowledge of Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel • Business-fluent German and English • Ideally, experience with AI automation and agentic workflows in Finance • Empathetic, clear leadership style with the ability to establish structures and develop a team
