• Operate and further develop the Software Asset Management (SAM) tool and automate workflows and reports to increase efficiency • Advise internal customers on Software Asset Management and support license inventories and audits • Analyze license usage and identify cost-saving and optimization opportunities • Manage the SAP license inventory, including ensuring proper measurement, assigning licenses, and orchestrating license purchase activities • Advise SAP-using IT teams/products, particularly on selecting the appropriate licensing, optimizing license costs and inventory, and defining requirements for new SAP contracts • Support Service Managers in planning, managing, and billing license and maintenance fees
• Completed 2-year technical college qualification or at least a 3-year vocational training, plus additional specialized continuing education, or equivalent qualifications obtained by other means • Knowledge of SAM processes, ideally with experience in implementing, operating, and further developing SAM tools • Experience in automating workflows and reports, e.g., with Power Automate, scripting, or comparable tools • Ability to analyze license usage and identify potential cost savings • Preferably experience managing SAP licenses, including license measurement with the License Administration Workbench (LAW) and knowledge of SAP license metrics and contractual conditions
