• Operate and further develop the Software Asset Management tool and automate workflows and reports to increase efficiency • Advise internal customers on Software Asset Management and support license inventories and audits • Analyze license usage and identify cost-saving and optimization opportunities • Manage the SAP license pool, including ensuring proper measurement, assigning licenses, and orchestrating license purchase activities • Advise SAP-using IT areas/products—especially on selecting the appropriate licensing, optimizing license costs and inventory, and defining requirements for new SAP contracts • Support Service Managers in planning, managing, and charging license and maintenance fees
• Completed two-year technical college (Fachschule) or at least a three-year vocational training, plus additional specialized continuing education, or equivalent qualification obtained by another route • Knowledge of SAM (Software Asset Management) processes, ideally with experience implementing, operating, and further developing SAM tools • Experience automating workflows and reports, e.g., with Power Automate, scripting or comparable tools • Ability to analyze license usage and identify cost-saving potential • Ideally experience managing SAP licenses, including license measurement with the License Administration Workbench and knowledge of SAP license metrics and contractual conditions
