📋 Description

• The MetOptima Implementation Engineer will be responsible for all project phases of deploying the MetOptima solution at the customer sites including: Diagnostics, Build and Implementation, Adoption and Ongoing Improvement. • Travel will be required to customer sites for critical project phases. • Responsible for understanding the customer’s process, evaluating instrumentation, base layer control system and advanced process control system installations and requirements, understanding operational challenges, identifying opportunities for improvement and formulating solutions. • Guide the data science team on model development and optimisation strategies. • Customize reports per customers’ needs in conjunction with the Engineering team. • Responsible for training and coaching at the customer and customizing the specific training material as well as monitoring and analysis and reporting on performance and adoption KPIs and frequent customisation of Operator Guides frequently to match the customers’ plant environment. • Guide the customer to understand the model and optimisation strategy as well as provide ongoing support on the product while addressing the customer’s technical queries.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's qualification in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering. • At least three years of relevant experience in Minerals Process Facility / Control Consulting environment / Advance Process Control (APC), Mining Process, Chemical Process • Professional Proficiency in MS Office and Python is beneficial. • Ability to work autonomously and have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Willing to travel to remote locations. • Self-driven. • Fluent English and, ideally, Spanish communication skills.
