📋 Description
• Responsible for the execution of all the project phases of deploying the MetOptima solution at the customer sites including: Diagnostics, Build and Implementation, Adoption and Ongoing Improvement. • Travel will be required to customer sites for critical project phases. • Responsible for understanding the customer’s process, evaluating instrumentation, base layer control system and advanced process control system installations and requirements, understanding operational challenges, assist in identify opportunities for improvement and formulating solutions. • Providing insight and guidance to the data science team on model development and optimisation strategies. • Customize reports per customers’ needs in conjunction with the Platform Engineering team. • Responsible for conducting training and coaching at the customer site and customising the specific training material, as well as monitoring, analysis and reporting on performance and adoption KPIs. • Provide frequent customisation of Operator Guides to match the customers’ plant environment. • Guide the customer to understand the models and optimisation strategy as well as provide ongoing support on the product while addressing the customer’s technical queries.
🎯 Requirements
• BSc/BEng Chemical Engineer • Advanced Process Control (APC) • Base Layer Control • Industrial Networking • Minerals Processing • 10 Years+ Designing, Installing and Maintaining Advanced Process Control systems in a minerals processing environment • A post-graduate qualification in control engineering or similar would be advantageous. • Self-Driven • Independent • Willing to Travel • Problem-Solving Oriented
