📋 Description

• Serve as the technical lead for large-scale, complex software projects, ensuring architectural integrity, scalability, and performance for data platform and pipelines • Provide expert guidance on software design, architecture, and implementation strategies to ensure alignment with business and technical objectives • Drive technical innovation and evaluate emerging technologies to integrate into the development ecosystem • Lead the design and development of key system components, frameworks, and services that form the foundation of Duck Creek’s data product offerings • Collaborate with Product Management, Quality Assurance, and other Engineering teams to deliver high-quality, on-time software solutions • Ensure adherence to software development best practices, including coding standards, testing, security, and performance optimization • Design, implement, and manage scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Snowflake and related technologies • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data loads, performance, and data availability

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or higher education level, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Information Sciences, and/or related field • 6+ years of total work experience in software development • 3 years minimum leadership experience, 5 years preferred • Extensive experience with software architecture, design patterns, and modern data platform architecture such as lakehouses • Strong technical leadership experience on large-scale projects in a global organization • Experience with cloud data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, SQL Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage) is a plus • In-depth understanding of modern software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices • Expertise in cloud computing platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
