📋 Description

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data pipeline deployments • Author and manage Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and Helm for lakehouse components • Manage Kubernetes clusters for Airflow, Spark operators, and DataHub workloads • Implement logging, metrics, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry • Automate provisioning across development, staging, and production environments • Collaborate with data engineering and security teams on policy-as-code and configuration standards • Manage cloud cost optimization through spot instances, auto-scaling, and resource rightsizing • Develop runbooks, SOP documentation, and on-call playbooks • Drive SLA compliance through capacity planning and incident response • Evaluate and introduce DevOps tooling to improve platform engineering productivity • Participate in a talent-pipeline recruitment process for anticipated future hiring needs

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE roles • Strong proficiency with Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE) • Experience with CI/CD platforms: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD • Hands-on experience deploying and managing data platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP • Proficiency in Bash, Python, or Go for automation • Experience with Docker, container orchestration, and microservices deployment patterns • Knowledge of Honeycomb, Grafana, ELK stack, and Datadog • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience • Currently based in Hungary • Legal right to live and work in Hungary • Preferred: Databricks Terraform provider or Snowflake deployment automation experience • Preferred: GitOps workflows with ArgoCD or Flux • Preferred certifications: CKA, AWS DevOps Professional, or HashiCorp Terraform
