• Assist in the design of overhead transmission lines, including: • Plan and profile development • Structure spotting support • Basic drafting and design tasks • Support engineering calculations such as: • Sag and tension analysis • Clearance checks • Learn and utilize industry software tools (e.g., PLS-CADD) • Assist in preparing engineering drawings, reports, and material lists • Coordinate with internal teams including structural, environmental, and survey groups • Participate in field visits and site assessments as needed • Support quality control processes and documentation
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Electrical Engineering • 0–3 years of relevant experience (internship experience acceptable) • EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6–12 months • Strong interest in transmission line engineering and infrastructure projects • Exposure to PLS-CADD or similar engineering software (preferred) • Familiarity with basic engineering design principles and standards (preferred) • Internship or coursework related to power delivery or structural design (preferred)
