📋 Description

• Lead PPCA communications work on the benefits and feasibility of the coal-to-clean transition in Southeast Asia • Report to the Communications Lead • Develop and deliver comprehensive communications strategies with the PPCA Comms Team, broader PPCA team, and relevant governments • Follow political and media debates in Southeast Asia to identify strategic communications opportunities • Develop and refine narratives addressing local priorities, concerns, and opportunities • Identify regional proof-points and case studies and leverage closed-door PPCA engagements for exclusive insights • Produce press releases, press briefings, social media content, op-eds, blogs, and event communications • Cultivate strategic media partnerships and position PPCA and its spokespeople as regional energy-transition resources • Identify media opportunities, pitch stories, deliver media assets, and develop interview speaking points • Establish and leverage stakeholder partnerships and elevate local influential voices • Use social media to increase visibility and strengthen connections • Coordinate online and in-person events from concept through completion • Represent PPCA at relevant events and enhance the Alliance’s profile • Track and analyse media coverage, social media activity, and stakeholder feedback • Report to senior staff and funders on communications effectiveness and improvement areas • Contribute to broader PPCA communications activities as required

🎯 Requirements

• Based in Singapore • Significant professional experience leading external communications, including developing and implementing communication strategies at senior, supervisor, or manager level • Strong track record of building and maintaining impactful media relations in Southeast Asia, including pitching stories and securing media coverage • Proven experience working in networks with a strong track record of leading stakeholder management • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including governments, think tanks, and financial institutions • Proven experience delivering events • Understanding of digital communications tools and platforms, including social media management, website content management systems, and email marketing • Enthusiasm for embracing complex, technical topics and transforming them into compelling energy-transition narratives • Versatile and adaptable skills to work in a fast-paced, wide-ranging environment and across time zones • Capability to meet deadlines independently • Fluency in written and spoken English • Additional languages are an asset • Right to live and work in the jurisdiction in which E3G employs the candidate • CV maximum 2 pages and offer letter maximum 1 page, submitted in English
