EAC Network is a diverse social service organization that empowers, assists, and cares for people in need across Long Island and New York City. It operates a broad network of programs serving children and youth, families, individuals involved with the criminal justice system, seniors, and people seeking vocational and re-entry support, as well as providing nutrition, behavioral health, mediation, and community-based services. • Provide educational services to participants referred to the Abusive Partner Intervention Program • Guide participants through a curriculum focusing on abusive acts and the impact of violence • Conduct assessment and orientation sessions for participants • Co-facilitate batterer intervention sessions • Maintain participant attendance • Conduct breathalyzer and/or toxicology tests when required • Attend trainings/meetings as scheduled
• High School Diploma or educational equivalent required • Bachelor's Degree in social services area preferred • Participation in qualified training in domestic violence and/or criminal justice or 100 hours of qualified internship training at an EAC site • Must be proficient in computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications • Must have knowledge of local criminal justice and treatment systems • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
