• Manage the full cycle of accounting including AP, AR, and general ledger maintenance. • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, allocations, reconciliations, and variance analyses. • Maintain accurate balance sheet account reconciliations. • Oversee fixed asset accounting and reporting. • Manage federal, state, and private grant reporting requirements. • Ensure proper allocation of costs and compliance with grant budgets and allowable cost principles. • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual internal financial statements.
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related area. • Possess at least five (5) years of progressively more complex GL, Accounting and/or Finance Reporting experience, at least two (2) years of which are in a leadership capacity. • Possess advanced knowledge and understanding of GAAP, non-profit reporting requirements, and financial statement analysis. • Solid background in the use of computers specific to accounting systems/ modules.
