âą Maintains a subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions. âą Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries. âą Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries. âą Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries. âą Develops a system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures. âą Maintains historical records by filing documents. âą Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends. âą Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions. âą Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. âą Ensures the LCP dropbox or storage drive is up-to-date and complete. âą Eventually, conduct audits and submission of audit reports and finalization of financial statements (future task)
âą Graduate of college education, preferably with a degree in (or closely related to) Commerce, Accountancy and Cost Management, Financial Management or Business Administration âą Must be English speaking âą Must also be willing to work to suit the demanding clientele, including week-ends and outside of normal work hours âą Preferably with experience in Hospitality industry âą Adept/ has expertise with financial software applications
